We learned this morning about the sudden death of Bob Jones, the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner.
We are shocked and saddened by this news and want to pay tribute to the knowledge and passion he brought to the role of Police Commissioner.
We might have been on different sides politically – but we recognise and respect the passion and enthusiasm he brought to his role. He worked tirelessly for Coventry and for the West Midlands and he will be greatly missed by a lot of people.
